Have I got a beautiful wedding to share with you today! Robbie and Kealan were married in their homeland of Ireland a few months ago, and their day looked just as colourful and vibrant as they hoped.
The happy couple came to us with a specific theme in mind, inspired by their amazing wedding cake! Having a theme, or something simple like a colour scheme or particular design accent is a great starting point when it comes to deciding the design direction for your stationery. Once you have a general idea of what you want, drilling down into specifics becomes that much easier.

On making the decision to work with the team at Lala Design | Paper & Ink Studio. ‘We initially knew of Lala Design | Paper & Ink Studio from the shop in Leederville and always thought the designs and quality were top notch. We then went to an LGBTQ wedding expo in the Perth Exhibition Centre. To our pleasant surprise, we met Lala and the team. We instantly fell in love, not only with the girls but with the range of fun, elegant, and high-quality wedding stationery that was on display. After talking with Lala and Kellie at the Expo, we knew we had to book a consultation and see if we could work together to create our dream wedding stationery.’

Robbie and Kealan’s favourite part of the process. ‘Our favourite part was the first mock-up of designs and seeing our initial ideas brought to life. It was a fabulous, vibrant design mock-up. It started to feel real, like “yes, we are actually getting married.”
Every step of the process was so easy. The girls on the team are just so friendly and easy to work with. They give such a personal service that makes you feel special. For us, it made us feel really valued.’
"We actually felt like good friends of Lala, Anna and Kellie at the end of our time working with them. Nothing was impossible working with these ladies. They were so responsive."
On seeing all the elements together for the first time. ‘We were specific about our wedding theme and colour palette, which all came from the wedding cake we had chosen in Ireland 18 months before our big day. Our cake determined the theme and colour scheme for everything else, from our invitations to flowers, menu cards, and on the day styling.
On the day, everything looked so elegant yet fun, and it all gelled together so well like it was exactly meant to be that way (which in some ways we suppose it was).’
