Save the Dates

You’ve celebrated your engagement and the planning is underway—time to get your guests in the loop by sending them a wedding save-the-date card. This pre-invitation officially announces your wedding date and lets guests know that they will, in fact, be invited to the celebration.

DO I NEED SAVE THE DATE CARDS?

The Lala rule of thumb is this; if you’ve got a bit of time before your big day, and you know there will be people travelling or it’s a popular and busy time of the year , then absolutely send Save the Date cards! This gives your loved ones time to organise flights, accommodation, babysitters, or just make sure they have the day off of work – and if you know what your theme is, it’s the first peek your guests will get.
